WHAT IS MENTAL FITNESS:
Mental fitness is a relatively new concept designed to emphasize the importance of mental health, just as physical fitness emphasizes the importance of physical health. It suggests that, just as physical activity can improve our physical health, mental exercises can enhance our mental health. Mental fitness refers to a state of well-being where we maintain a positive perspective on our emotions, thoughts, and actions, as well as the health of our brain and emotions. It is not necessarily about excelling in tests or engaging in memory games or puzzles, but rather about participating in activities that foster mental wellness and boost our resilience to stress.
Choosing to be inactive instead of exercising can be easy, just as falling into harmful negative thoughts and behaviors that can induce feelings of sadness, worry, and anxiety can be easy. Likewise, just as lack of exercise or unhealthy eating habits can make us more prone to illness, not engaging in healthy cognitive practices can lead to a decline in mental fitness.
Thanks to research in positive and cognitive psychology, and contributions from leading neuroscientist Dr. Kristen Willeumier PH.D., Jim Madrid and his team at Advance Sports Technology have developed a top-notch mental fitness process. This process has over 50,000 graduates worldwide.

Jim Madrid is a leadership and peak performance coach who helps individuals and organizations improve their performance and achieve their goals. When it comes to explaining change, Jim Madrid has a few key insights.
First, he believes that change is a natural part of life. Everything around us is constantly changing, and we must learn to adapt to those changes if we want to succeed. Whether it's changes in technology, the economy, or the world around us, we must be willing to adapt and change in response.
Second, Jim Madrid emphasizes the importance of mindset when it comes to change. He believes that we must develop a growth mindset in order to embrace change and see it as an opportunity for growth and development. This means focusing on the possibilities and opportunities that change can bring, rather than the challenges and obstacles.
Third, Jim Madrid stresses the importance of taking action when it comes to change. He believes that it's not enough to simply recognize the need for change or even to have a positive mindset about it. We must be willing to take action and make the necessary changes in our lives or organizations to achieve our goals.
Overall, Jim Madrid's approach to change emphasizes the need for adaptability, a growth mindset, and action. By embracing these principles, individuals and organizations can not only survive but thrive in the face of change.
